Counselling is not about having all the answers- it’s about having a space where you can safely explore the questions.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin reconnecting with yourself. Whether you’re facing anxiety, stress, change, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, counselling can be a place to explore what matters to you - at your own pace.
About:
Hi, I’m Luke.
I know how difficult it can be to carry things silently or feel stuck trying to manage everything on your own. My own experiences with mental health challenges - and receiving counselling myself during that time - played a significant part in my recovery and ultimately inspired me to pursue counselling professionally. Experiencing the value of being genuinely heard, supported, and understood deepened my belief in the importance of authentic human connection with therapy.
Since then, I’ve completed a Master’s of Counselling and am a registered counsellor with PACFA. I’ve spent the past several years working within mental health settings across Australia, supporting people through anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use challenges and significant life changes.
I also have experience working alongside LGBTIQ+ individuals and understand some of the unique challenges that can come with identity, belonging, relationships and navigating the world as part of the community myself.
My approach to counselling is warm, person centered, and collaborative. I believe each person’s experiences and story are unique, and I aim to create a calm welcoming space where clients feel safe to explore what they’re going through without judgement.
My goal is to support people to reconnect with themselves, build self understanding, and move forward towards meaningful and lasting change at their own pace.
